CT: computed tomography EBER-ISH: Epstein-Barr viruseencoded RNA in situ hybridization EBV: Epstein-Barr virus LYG: lymphomatoid granulomatosis INTRODUCTION Lymphomatoid granulomatosis (LYG) is a rare B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder that involves the skin in approximately 50% of cases. We describe a patient with LYG who first presented with cutaneous lesions. His skin biopsy failed to show large B-cell lymphocytes positive for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-encoded RNA in situ hybridization (EBERISH), highlighting the diagnostic challenges that dermatologists may face when encountering cutaneous LYG.

Lymphomatoid granulomatosis presenting as angioedema.
We describe a patient with severe eyelid and lip angioedema lesions in whom biopsy specimens from angioedematous labial mucosa disclosed features of lymphomatoid granulomatosis. To our knowledge, angioedema lesions with characteristic histological findings of lymphomatoid granulomatosis have not been previously described as a presenting sign of this disease.

We report the case of a patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis [RA] presenting with clinical-pathological and radiological features of Pulmonary Lymphomatoid Granulomatosis (PLG). This is a rare lung disorder characterized by multiple nodular lesions with lymphocytic invasion of vascular walls. We present one such case of PLG secondary to Methotrexate and Azathioprine therapy, who was successfully t...

Lymphomatoid granulomatosis (LG) is a potentially malignant lymphoproliferative disorder. The lung is the most common involved site, followed by the skin and nervous system. However, LG of the central nervous system presenting with Parkinsonism is very rare. We report a patient with LG who presented with parkinsonian features such as bilateral rigidity, bradykinesia, and agitation. Brain magnet...
متن کاملCT of CNS lesions in lymphomatoid granulomatosis: case report.
Neurologic manifestations of lymphomatoid granulomatosis occur in 20-30% of cases. The disease is primarily an unusual form of pulmonary angiitis, and was first described in 1972 by Liebow et al. [1] . The purpose of this paper is to show the progression and regression of CNS lesions in a 17-year-old boy who presented only with neurologic features of the disease. Patients with lymphomatoid gran...

A 70-year-old man was admitted to our hospital for evaluation of a rapidly progressive erythrodermia. He had superficial lymph node swelling and gluteal/inguinal nodosum-like lesions. A skin biopsy of the erythrodermia showed dense mixed infiltrates distributed throughout the whole dermis, predominantly consisting of small lymphocytes and histiocytes with multinucleated giant cells presenting w...
